Urinary tract infections (UTI’s)

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common infections that affect the bladder, urethra, or sometimes even the kidneys. They are often caused by bacteria entering the urinary tract.

We can potentially help women aged 18-64 experiencing UTI symptoms like:

  • Frequent urination (day and night)
  • Painful urination
  • Urgent need to pee
  • Cloudy urine

For blood in your urine or lower tummy pain, please see your GP.

Seek an urgent GP appointment for:

  • Kidney pain
  • Feeling/being sick
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • A temperature above 38°C
  • A temperature below 36°C

If you’re pregnant, use a catheter, or have recurring UTIs (2 in 6 months or 3 in 12 months), please consult your GP for treatment.
