Description
The hormones in Yasmin, drospirenone and ethinylestradiol, inhibit ovulation by preventing the ovaries from releasing an egg. Additionally, they create an environment that hinders sperm from reaching an egg and reduces the likelihood of an egg implanting in the uterine lining.
