What is Rhinolast & How Does it Work?

Rhinolast Nasal Spray contains Azelastine hydrochloride, a potent antihistamine that specifically targets and alleviates nasal allergy symptoms. This effective treatment provides relief from congestion, sneezing, and a runny nose, addressing issues caused by hay fever, dust mites, and pet dander.

By blocking the histamines responsible for triggering allergic reactions, Azelastine hydrochloride reduces inflammation and swelling in the nasal passages. Rhinolast Nasal Spray offers both rapid and long-lasting relief, helping you breathe more easily and enjoy a better quality of life.

 

Warnings

Do not use Rhinolast if you:

  • Are allergic to any of its ingredient
  • Are under the age of 6 years

 

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Rhinolast if you are planning to become pregnant, are currently pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

 

Directions

For adults and children aged 6 years and older

Administer 1 spray in each nostril twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening.

  1. Blow your nose before use.
  2. Remove the protective cap.
  3. Prior to the first use, pump the spray several times until an even mist is produced.
  4. While keeping your head upright, spray once into each nostril.
  5. Wipe the nozzle clean and replace the protective cap.


Do not use the spray if it has expired or if the bottle has been open for more than 6 months. If you need a new supply, consult your doctor for a fresh prescription to ensure the solution remains sterile.

Azelastine Hydrochloride 0.1% w/v

Inactive Ingredients

Hypromellose, disodium edetate, citric acid, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, purified water.

Side Effects

Like all medications, Rhinolast may cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. These side effects include:

Common (affecting up to 1 in 10 people): An unpleasant taste in the mouth, particularly if you tilt your head back while using the nasal spray. In rare cases, this taste may lead to nausea.

Uncommon (affecting up to 1 in 100 people): Mild irritation inside the nose, such as stinging or itching, sneezing, and nosebleeds.

Very Rare (affecting up to 1 in 10,000 people): Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or hives.

How quickly does Rhinolast work?

Rhinolast Nasal Spray offers antihistamine relief for up to 12 hours. For cases of allergic rhinitis involving severe inflammation, it may take a few days to achieve its full effect.
