Description

Minoxidil is an active ingredient in Regaine, has been clinically shown to target the hair roots, reactivating dormant follicles and enhancing existing hair. It boosts blood circulation and nutrient delivery to the follicles, encouraging them to grow larger and produce thicker, stronger hair. Additionally, it prolongs the hair growth phase, leading to a higher overall hair count.

Regaine for Women Regular Strength is designed for women aged 18 to 65. This product is most effective for women experiencing general hair thinning on the scalp. Those who are younger or have recently started losing hair are likely to see the best results with Regaine for Women Regular Strength.

To determine if Regaine for Women Regular Strength is right for you, consider the following indicators of hereditary hair loss:

  • The pattern of hair loss (refer to the product information leaflet)
  • Gradual onset and progression of hair loss

  • Absence of other symptoms accompanying your hair loss

 

Please note: Regaine for Women Regular Strength may be less effective if you have experienced hair loss or thinning for many years or have a significant area of hair loss.

 

Warnings

Regaine for Women Regular Strength should not be used in the following situations:

  • If you are under 18 or over 65 years old.
  • If you have a blood pressure condition or are undergoing treatment for it.
  • If you have any scalp conditions, such as sunburn or psoriasis.
  • If you have allergic to minoxidil, propylene glycol or ethanol.
  • If you are pregnant of breastfeeding.
  • For sudden or unexplained hair loss.
  • For hair loss resulting from medication.
  • If you have a red, inflamed, irritated, infected, or painful scalp, or if your head is shaved.

 

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any underlying medical conditions, are taking other medications or complementary therapies, or if symptoms persist.

You should stop using the product and consult a doctor if you have any symptoms of  hypotension, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, faintness or dizziness, sudden unexplained weight gain, swelling in the hands or feet, persistent redness or irritation of the scalp, or any other new and unexpected symptoms.

Seek guidance before use if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or have allergies.

Keep all medications out of the reach of children.

Directions

  • A dose of 1 ml Regaine for Women Regular Strength cutaneous solution should be applied to the total affected areas of the scalp twice daily.
  • The total dosage should not exceed 2 ml.
  • If fingertips are used to facilitate drug application, hands should be washed afterwards

Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.

  • Hair and scalp should be thoroughly dry prior to topical application of Regaine for Women Regular Strength.
  • It may take twice daily applications for four months or more before evidence of hair growth can be expected. 
  • Exceeding the recommended dose will not re-grow your hair any more quickly and you may risk side effects.
  • If you miss one or two applications, just carry on as normal as if you had not missed the dose – do not use twice as much or twice as often.
  • Always wash your hands thoroughly after applying Regaine for Women Regular Strength and rinse other areas that have come into contact with Regaine for Women Regular Strength.
  • If hair re-growth occurs, twice daily applications of Regaine for Women Regular Strength are necessary for continued hair growth. Anecdotal reports indicate that re-grown hair may disappear three to four months after stopping Regaine for Women Regular Strength application and the balding process will continue.
  • Discontinue treatment if there is no improvement after one year.

Side Effects


Stop using regaine for Women Regular Strength if you get any of the following:

  • blood pressure changes
  • rapid heart beat
  • new or worsening pain in the chest
  • dizziness, light-headedness, or fainting
  • unexplained rapid weight gain of more than 2kg or 5lb
  • swelling or puffiness of the hands or feet
  • persistent redness or irritation of the scalp
