Description

Piriton Syrup offers fast relief from symptoms of:

  • Hayfever and other allergies, such as pet, house dust mite, and mould spore allergies.
  • Nettle rash, hives, heat rash, prickly heat, and dermatitis.
  • Reactions to food, food additives, medicines, and insect bites.
  • Itchy rash from chickenpox.

Warnings


Only for 1 year +

WARNING: May cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery.

Avoid alcohol.
 
If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
 
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Store below 25ºC. Protect from light.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking other medications or complementary therapies, or if symptoms persist.

Seek advice before use if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or have allergies.

Directions

For oral use

1-2 years:  2.5ml spoonful twice daily. Maximum daily dose: 2 small 2.5ml spoonfuls (5ml).
2-6 years:  2.5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours. Maximum daily dose: 6 small 2.5ml spoonfuls (15ml).
6-12 years: One 5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours. Maximum daily dose: 6 large 5ml spoonfuls (30ml).
Adults and children over 12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) every 4-6 hours. Maximum daily dose: 12 large 5ml spoonfuls (60ml).

Ingredients

Chlorphenamine Maleate.

Also contains: Sucrose, Glycerol, Ethanol and a mixture of Methyl, Ethyl and Propyl Hydroxybenzoates (E218, E214 and E216). See leaflet for further advice.
