Threadworms are small, white worms that live in the gut and can be seen in stool and they cause significant discomfort due to itching and irritation around the anus, especially at night.
Ovex suspension contains mebendazole, which prevents threadworms from absorbing the sugars they need to survive. This one-dose treatment will kill the threadworms. The banana-flavored liquid makes it easy for the whole family to take.
It is strongly recommended that all family members (except pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under two) be treated simultaneously and that precautions are taken to prevent re-infection.
