Description

 

Loratadine tablet provides relief from allergic symptoms caused by hayfever and airborne allergens like house dust mites and pet dander. It can also be used for allergic skin conditions such as rashes, itching, and hives (urticaria). One tablet offers effective relief without causing drowsiness.

Warnings

  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Avoid use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
  • Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist.
  • Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
  • Loratadine 10 mg Tablets should be used with caution in patients with severe liver impairment.
  • This medication contains lactose. Patients with rare hereditary issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine.
  • Discontinue the use of Loratadine 10 mg Tablets at least 48 hours before undergoing skin tests, as antihistamines may interfere with or reduce positive reactions to dermal reactivity index.

Directions

Adults:

10 mg once daily (one tablet once daily).

Ingredients

Contains 10g Loratadine.

Also containes: Lactose, Maize starch, Magnesium stearate

Side Effects

Loratadine can cause side effects such as:

  • Dry mouth
  • Dizziness
  • Stomach upset
