Foundayo (Orforglipron) Tablets
Price range: £99.00 through £164.99
Foundayo (orforglipron) is a revolutionary, once-daily oral GLP-1 medication designed for chronic weight management. Manufactured by Eli Lilly, this convenient daily pill helps suppress appetite and keeps you feeling fuller for longer. Unlike some other weight loss tablets, Foundayo is highly flexible and can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food.
Please note: Foundayo is a Prescription-Only Medicine (POM). You will need to complete a brief, confidential online consultation with our NHS-registered prescribing team to ensure this treatment is safe and suitable for you.
What is Foundayo (Orforglipron)?
Foundayo is a groundbreaking oral weight loss medication manufactured by Eli Lilly, the makers of Mounjaro. Its active ingredient, orforglipron, is a small-molecule, non-peptide GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist. Approved by the MHRA for use in the UK, Foundayo offers a highly effective alternative to weekly injectable treatments like Wegovy and Mounjaro.
It is indicated for adults living with obesity (a Body Mass Index of 30 or above) or overweight adults (a BMI of 27 or above) who also have at least one weight-related condition, such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol.
How Does Foundayo Work?
Foundayo mimics the action of the GLP-1 hormone naturally produced in your gut after eating. This hormone is responsible for regulating appetite, digestion, and blood sugar levels. By activating GLP-1 receptors in the brain and digestive system, Foundayo:
-
Significantly reduces hunger and stops intense cravings.
-
Increases feelings of fullness, helping you eat smaller portion sizes.
-
Delays gastric emptying, so you stay satisfied for longer after a meal.
-
Improves blood glucose control by boosting insulin production when sugar levels are high.
When combined with a reduced-calorie diet and a healthy exercise programme, clinical trials have shown Foundayo can help patients achieve an average weight loss of up to 12.4% over 72 weeks at the highest doses.
The Oral GLP-1 Advantage
Until recently, the most effective GLP-1 weight loss treatments required regular self-injections. Foundayo changes the landscape. It is the perfect option for patients who have a phobia of needles or simply prefer the convenience and discretion of a daily pill. Furthermore, unlike earlier oral GLP-1 medications (such as the oral semaglutide pill), Foundayo does not require you to take it on an empty stomach. It is designed to be taken flexibly—with or without food and water.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a prescription to buy Foundayo online?
Yes, Foundayo is a Prescription-Only Medicine (POM) in the UK. You can buy Foundayo safely through our NHS-registered online pharmacy by completing a brief medical questionnaire. Our clinicians will review your answers to ensure it is the right treatment for you before issuing a private prescription.
How is Foundayo different from the Wegovy pill?
While both are oral GLP-1 weight loss tablets, they have key differences in how they are taken. The oral Wegovy (semaglutide) pill must be taken strictly on an empty stomach with a small sip of water, and you must wait at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking anything else. Foundayo (orforglipron) is much more flexible—it can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food and drinks.
Can I switch from Mounjaro or Wegovy injections to Foundayo
Yes, many patients transition from injectable weight loss treatments to oral tablets. However, you must never take Foundayo at the same time as another GLP-1 medicine. Our prescribers will provide a tailored plan on how to safely transition from an injectable to Foundayo.
How much weight can I expect to lose on Foundayo?
In clinical trials, patients taking the highest doses of Foundayo over 72 weeks lost an average of 11.2% to 12.4% of their starting body weight. Your individual results will depend on your commitment to maintaining a calorie deficit and incorporating physical activity into your daily routine.
Is Foundayo available on the NHS?
Foundayo is fully approved for use in the UK by the MHRA, but NHS availability depends on specific local NICE guidelines and criteria. By purchasing through our online pharmacy, you are accessing the medication via a private prescription service, allowing for fast, direct, and discreet home delivery.
