Description
Cystitis is an inflammation of the bladder, which causes painful irritation and as unpleasent burning sensation when passing water.
- Cystopurin granules, made with natural cranberry juice extract, provide effective relief from cystitis symptoms.
- When you experience the initial burning or stinging sensations of cystitis, quick relief is essential, and that's where Cystopurin can assist.
- Cystopurin is a 48-hour treatment low in sodium designed to alleviate cystitis symptoms. Each pack contains 6 sachets that dissolve in water to create cranberry-flavored drinks.
- The granules work by neutralizing the acidity in your urine, which helps to ease the burning and stinging pain during urination.
- Starting Cystopurin treatment at the first signs of discomfort typically helps you feel better within a few hours.
Warnings
Before using Cystopurin, consult your doctor if you have any of the following conditions:
A history of heart issues, Dark or cloudy urine, or the presence of blood in your urine, Unusually heavy vaginal discharge, Pain in the stomach, groin, or back, A high fever and general fatigue, Phenylketonuria, as this product contains aspartame.
Please consult a healthcare professional before taking any product for cystitis if you are male, a child or if you are a woman experiencing any of the following symptoms: vaginal bleeding or discharge, recurrent cystitis, nausea, vomiting, fever, lower back pain, loin tenderness, or persistent symptoms of cystitis.
Do not take Cystopurin:
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Sodium Citrate or any of the other ingredients in Cystopurin.
if you have a history of kidney disease, suferring from high blood pressure, diabetes or are on a law sodium diet.
Do not take if you are pregnant of breastfeeding.
Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not repeat the treatment without medical advice.
Directions
Dissolve the contents of each sachet in 200ml of fresh drinking water and drink straight away.
Adult women: Take the content of one sachet three times a day for two days.
This medicine is not to be used by men or children.
Do not store above 25°C.
Do not take Cystocalm after the expiry date which is stated at one end of the carton and on the sachet. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not exceed the sateted dose.
Ingredients
Each 5.6 g sachet of granules contains the active ingredient: sodium citrate dihydrate 4.0 g.
The other ingredients are: sucrose (sugar) 1.5g, colloidial anhydrous silica, saccharin sodium and cranberry flavouring.
Side Effects
- Most people do not have any side effects. However you you experience any side effects, or anything unusual happens, stop taking the medicine immediately, and see your doctor of pharmacist.
- Passing water more frequently.
