Description

Soothing Relief from Pain and Fever for Your Children When They Need It Most.

Calpol Infant Sugar-Free, Colour-Free 120mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a strawberry-flavored solution designed to relieve fever (including post-immunisation fever), cold and flu symptoms, teething pain, headaches, sore throats, earaches, and other aches and pains. Suitable for children aged 2 months to 6 years.

Warnings

Age and Weight: Do not give to babies under 2 months old. Only give if your baby weighs over 4 kg and was born after 37 weeks.

Dosage: Leave at least 4 hours between doses; do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. For infants 2-3 months, do not give more than 2 doses without consulting a doctor.

Duration: Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Paracetamol Content: Contains paracetamol. Do not give with any other paracetamol-containing products.

Administration: Follow label instructions and use only the provided syringe. For oral use only. Shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use.

Overdose: Contact a doctor immediately if an overdose occurs, even if your child seems well.

Storage: Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25°C in the outer carton.

Medicine Interactions: Consult a doctor if your child is taking other medications.

If necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5 ml dose

• Do not give to babies less than 2 months of age.

• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.

• Do not give more than 2 doses. This is to ensure that fever that may be due to a serious infection is quickly diagnosed. If your child is still feverish after two doses, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

• Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period

• Leave at least 4 hours between doses

• Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist

 

It is important to shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use.

Ingredients

Each 5ml contains 120 mg of Paracetamol.

Also contains: Maltitol, Sodium,Benzyl alcohol, E1520, E420, E218, E216 and E214, E218 & E122

Side Effects

Common side effects of paracetamol in infants include:

  • Restlessness
  • Loss of appetite
