Algesal Local Analgesic Cream

Both Algesal Cream 50g and Algesal Cream 100g tubes are usually safe for most people to use there are a small number of people who should not use them. Do not use Algesal Cream if:

• You are allergic to any of the ingredients in Algesal Cream
• You are allergic to aspirin or medicines like aspirin
• Your child is under 6 years old
• You have a history of convulsions
• The surface of the skin is broken

You should speak to your doctor before using Algesal Cream 100g or Algesal Cream 50g if:

• You are asthmatic
• You are elderly

• Apply the cream to the skin 3 times a day
• Apply a small amount to the affected area
• Massage the cream in until it is fully absorbed
• Always try Algesal on a small area of skin first
• Avoid sensitive areas of the skin
• Avoid contact with eyes
• Wash hands well after use

If you feel no relief after using Algesal Cream, you should contact your doctor for a review.

The active ingredient is: diethylamine salicylate 10% w/w.

The other ingredients are: ethylene glycol stearate, glycerol monostearate, stearic acid, triethanolamine, petrolatum, light liquid paraffin, microcrystalline wax, lavandin composition, purified water.

Algesal Cream Side Effects can occur but that does not mean everybody that used it will experience them and if they do, they are usually mild, some Algesal Cream Side Effects include but are not limited to:

• Burning sensation
• Redness
• Rashes
