About Pharmacy Advance

Is Pharmacy Advance legal? Is it fully licensed and regulated?
We operate under the strict guidelines set forth by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) in the UK. This means we undergo regular inspections to ensure we meet the highest standards for safe and ethical pharmacy practice. You can check our GPHC number here or at the bottom of the page.
We prioritise your privacy. Your data is encrypted and used only for orders, communication, and service improvement. We never share it without your explicit consent (except as legally required). See our Privacy Policy for details.
We can only share your medication information with your GP with your explicit consent. This is because of strict patient confidentiality laws in the UK. However, we strongly recommend giving your GP consent to be notified. Here’s why:
Safer for you: A complete medication record with your GP helps avoid potential interactions or complications, especially if you’re taking multiple medications.
Benefits future care: Your GP can more effectively manage your overall health when they have a comprehensive picture of your medications.
We will never share your information without your consent, unless there’s a legal or safety concern. In such cases, we would prioritise your well-being and act in accordance with regulations.

Ordering & Delivery

How does it work?
1. Fill out a quick questionnaire: Provide some information about your health and the medication you need. You will then be able to buy your medication – this does not guarantee that you have been approved.
2. Video consultation: A healthcare professional will schedule a brief confidential video consultation with you. This is to confirm your details, discuss the medication, and answer any questions you might have. If there are any issues and your consultation is not approved, then you will be fully refunded.
3. Order processing and medication delivery: After the consultation and approval, we process your order and dispatch your medication securely to your address.
We offer several convenient delivery options to suit your needs: • Tracked Delivery (Standard): All our packages come with tracked delivery for your peace of mind. You can track your order progress online. • Letterbox Delivery (Optional): For medications that fit safely through a standard letterbox, you can choose this option with your consent. However, this is only available if there are no unsupervised animals or children present who could access the packaging.
Cut-off times are 13:00 on weekdays. We are open on weekends however deliveries will be sent the following Monday.
Yes you absolutely can! We are based in 4 Beare Green Court, Dorking, RH5 4SL and our operating times are 09:00 – 17:00 weekdays and 10:00 – 14:00 Saturday.
We can supply some prescription medications through Patient Group Directions (PGDs). These have strict guidelines in place that allow pharmacists to issue certain medications without a prior prescription from a doctor.
This involves a video consultation to assess your suitability for the medication and verify your identity.
Patient safety is our top priority. Therefore, there may be instances where you may not be eligible for a medication under a PGD. In such cases, we will explain the reasons and refer you to another healthcare professional, such as a doctor, for further guidance.
Dispose of unwanted or expired medication safely; never bin or flush medicines. We offer secure home collection via courier; contact us to arrange it. Alternatively, for an easier option, take unwanted medication to your nearest local NHS pharmacy for free, safe disposal.
