Warnings

  • CAUTION: Contains Persulphates, which are a known allergen. If you have a known allergy to persulphates, consult your dental professional before use or seek a persulphate-free alternative.
  • HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. Do not ingest tablets or solution. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • CAUSES SERIOUS EYE IRRITATION. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water for several minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
  • MAY CAUSE SKIN IRRITATION. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Wash hands thoroughly after handling tablets or solution.
  • NOT FOR ORAL USE. Do not place tablets in mouth. Appliances must be thoroughly rinsed under running water before being placed back in the mouth.
  • Do not use hot water, as it may damage your appliance. Use warm (not hot) water.
  • Do not leave wire appliances soaking for more than 15-20 minutes to prevent potential corrosion over time.

Directions

  1. Drop one Retainer Brite cleaning tablet into enough warm (not hot) water to fully cover your oral appliance.
  2. Place your retainer, aligner, mouthguard, or denture into the bubbling blue solution.
  3. Allow your appliance to soak for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Remove the appliance from the solution and rinse it thoroughly under running water.
  5. Rinse your hands thoroughly after handling the solution and appliance.
  6. For best results, use daily.

Ingredients

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Sodium Carbonate, Potassium Persulphate Compound, Corn Syrup Solids, Sodium Percarbonate, Sodium Sulphate, Sorbitol, Tetraacetylethylenediamine (TAED), PEG-180, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Flavour, PEG-8, Magnesium Stearate, FD&C Blue #1 Aluminium Lake (CI 42090), FD&C Blue #2 (CI 73015).

Side Effects

When used as directed, Retainer Brite is generally safe. However, due to the presence of persulphates, some individuals may experience:

  • Allergic Reactions: Symptoms can include rashes, hives, irritation, or tenderness of gum tissues in contact with the appliance, difficulty breathing, sore throat, swollen throat, swollen tongue, swollen lips, or a feeling of the throat closing/tight airway. If you experience any of these symptoms, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention.
  • Skin or Eye Irritation: Direct contact with the tablet or concentrated solution may cause irritation. Rinse thoroughly if contact occurs.
  • Gastrointestinal Upset: If ingested, seek immediate medical attention.
