Description

Aqueous Calamine Cream combines calamine and zinc oxide, both of which offer astringent benefits. This cream gently soothes mild sunburn and other minor skin conditions.

Suitable for:Adults, the elderly and children.

Warnings

 
  • Do not smoke or approach open flames, as there is a risk of severe burns. Fabrics (such as clothing, bedding, dressings, etc.) that have come into contact with this product can ignite more easily and pose a serious fire hazard. Washing these items may reduce the product build-up but will not completely eliminate it.
  • This medicine contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions.
  • If you are having an x-ray, please do not apply beforehand as it may affect the outcome of the x-ray results.
  •  If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, Aqueous Calamine Cream is unlikely to cause any harm. If you have any concerns, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Directions

Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
 
Apply the cream to the skin.

Adults, the elderly and children: Apply liberally to dry skin as required.

Ingredients

Active ingredients:

- Calamine 4% w/w, zinc oxide 3% w/w.

Also contains:

- liquid paraffin, glyceryl monostearate (E471), macrogol cetostearyl ether 22, cetostearyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, and purified water.

Side Effects

If you accidentally swallow the cream, seek medical attention immediately. Bring the packaging with you to identify the medicine you've swallowed.

This medicine may cause side effects, however  not everybody gets them.
