Calpol Infant Sugar-Free, Colour-Free 250mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a strawberry-flavored solution designed to relieve fever (including post-immunisation fever), cold and flu symptoms, teething pain, headaches, sore throats, earaches, and other aches and pains. Suitable for children aged 6 years plus.

Warnings

Age Restriction: Do not give to children under 6 years old.

Dosage: Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.

Limitations: Do not give more than 2 doses without consulting a doctor. This helps ensure that any serious infection causing fever is quickly identified. If fever persists, seek medical advice.

Duration: Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Paracetamol Content: Contains paracetamol. Do not give any other product containing paracetamol simultaneously.

Dosage Adherence: Follow the label instructions. If your child’s condition does not improve, consult a doctor.

Administration: For oral use only. Always use the provided syringe.

Medicine Interactions: Consult a doctor or pharmacist if your child is taking other medications.

Safety: Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25°C in the outer carton.

Preparation: Shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use.

Overdose: Contact a doctor immediately if an overdose occurs, even if your child seems well.

• Leave at least 4 hours between doses

• Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist

 

Children aged 12-16 years: 10-15 ml (Two to three 5 ml doses) up to 4 times a day.

Adults and children over 16 years: 10 – 20 ml (Two to four 5 ml doses) up to 4 times a day.

It is important to shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use.

Ingredients

Each 5ml contains 250mg of Paracetamol.

Also contains: Maltitol liquid (E965), E420, E218, E216 and E214.
