Is there any food or drink I need to avoid?

No, you can eat and drink normally. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids as this can help your body flush out the infection faster.

Can I drive or ride a bike?

Nitrofurantoin may make you dizzy or sleepy. If this happens, do not drive or cycle until you feel better. It's an offence to drive a car if your ability to drive safely is affected.
